In some of the early wave election results, Marco Rubio has defeated ex-GOP turncoat Charlie Crist and trailing Democrat Kendrick Meek in one of the most-watched Senate races this election cycle. The exciting up-and-coming GOPer Rubio was backed at an early stage for tea partiers across the country, something that can also be said of another early winner, Rand Paul of Kentucky. With these early victories, added to Dan Coats' win in Indiana, Rob Portman in Ohio, and Kelly Ayotte in New Hampshire, the Senate is looking great for the GOP.
