Where Character Begins in Children

Mark Gregston
Christ didn't live and die just to offer us salvation. He came to teach us character through demonstrating a lifestyle that pleases God.

The Cost of Clutter
Jill Cooper
For some of us, instead of focusing on getting out of debt, we need to first give more serious thought to becoming organized. Does that sound crazy, almost laughable? Before you start laughing too hard, look at these examples and see if you can relate...

Bankruptcy in the Cathedral
Albert Mohler
It turns out that Robert Schuller offers the best analysis of this crisis with his own words. "No church has a money problem; churches only have idea problems." The theological crisis in Garden Grove is far more significant than the financial crisis.

Giving Hope: It Will Take More Than Politics
John Mark Reynolds
American Christians have striven to create philosophers and politicians, but have done too little to produce artists. If we said the Truth beautifully, people would wish our victory instead of dreading it. At this moment, Christianity should trade three governors for one great filmmaker.

"goose on steroids"

National Right to Work Committee

Dear Concerned American:

"To those who say it's dead, I say think again."

That was Labor Committee Chairman Senator Tom Harkin talking about RAMMING the "Card Check" Bill into law during the "lame duck" session of Congress set to start soon.

And because all those new pro-Right to Work Congressmen and Senators won't be sworn in until JANUARY, this could be our toughest test yet.

That's why I have prepared a petition to your U.S. Senators for you to sign IMMEDIATELY.

The fact is, the union bosses know this could be their LAST chance to force their entire radical, economy-crushing agenda into law.

They're not going to let it go to waste.

Worse, with the election come and gone, many Congressmen and Senators who were "on the fence" regarding "Card Check" think they simply have "nothing to lose" now.

Others, many of whom went down in flames on November 2, want REVENGE -- and they'll do everything they can to give one last handout to their union boss pals.

That's why your immediate action is so critical.

As you know, should "Card Check" pass, workers would lose the right to a secret ballot election when militant union organizers target their workplaces.

Instead, the union bosses would be able to intimidate workers one on one -- or three on one -- into signing so-called "union authorization cards" -- and BINGO -- a company is unionized automatically with no vote.

And with well over 90,000 recorded instances of union violence reported just since 1975, you and I both know union officials will stop at nothing to get a signature.

And what happens once these workers are forcibly unionized?

Well, if the union bosses can draw out negotiations for 90 days by making outrageous demands, Obama Administration bureaucrats will step in to "solve" the problem by imposing the terms and conditions of employment upon those workers.

Just as bad, union bosses and their cronies in the U.S. Senate have been working on a "Plan B Card Check" Scheme for months now to try and secure Senate passage.

They've successfully kept their scheme under wraps for now.

But you and I know one thing is for sure.

Whatever "final version" the union bosses and their cronies ultimately try to ram through will be designed to force millions of more workers under Big Labor's thumb.

That's why your IMMEDIATE help is so critical.

Please click here to sign the "lame duck" petition right away!

You see, "Card Check" isn't the ONLY thing you and I have to worry about.

The union bosses have also been fighting tooth-and-nail to RAM the Police and Firefighter Monopoly Bargaining Bill into law.

This radical bill is designed to force every police officer and firefighter in the nation under union boss control -- and is just the first step in forcing all public employees under Big Labor's thumb.

This has been a train wreck virtually everywhere it's been tried.

In places where Big Labor has control over public employees, union bosses insist on more government spending and block service improvements for taxpayers.

Then, public sector union bosses turn around and push for outrageous demands that no union boss forcefully "representing" workers in a competitive private business would dare to seek.

When lean times come, instead of shouldering cuts or taking blame, public sector union bosses threaten strikes!

Just in the past few years, you and I have seen that exact same scenario played out in states like California, Illinois and dozens of others where Big Labor has seized control of state and local government workers.

During these tough economic times, passage of the Police and Firefighter Monopoly Bargaining Bill is the LAST thing we need.

That's why I'm counting on your IMMEDIATE action.

Please click here to sign the petition right away!

You see, we simply don't have much time.

These fights are going to move FAST.

And our only realistic chance of DEFEATING "Card Check" and the Police and Firefighter Monopoly Bargaining Bill is in the U.S. Senate.

The good news is, Big Labor doesn't think you'll be ready.

They think that now that the election is over, millions of good folks like you from all across the country will just "shut off" and ignore what's happening in the "lame duck" session.

That's why if you and I can mobilize quickly and really start to turn the heat up on the U.S. Senate, Big Labor's allies won't know what hit them.

Already, I've launched a massive nationwide mail and e-mail program to opponents of forced unionism urging them to contact their U.S. Senators.

But more MUST be done.

Internet ads. Radio. Newspaper and TV ads, too.

None of this is cheap.

That's why I'm counting on your IMMEDIATE support.

So, in addition to signing the petition to your U.S. Senators, would you consider chipping in with a donation of $10 or more?

It's up to you and me to stop them.

So please sign the petition and chip in with a generous donation of $10 or more right away.

There's no time to waste. Please act IMMEDIATELY.

Sincerely,
Mark Mix
Mark Mix
President

P.S. The union bosses are doing everything they can to RAM through "Card Check" and the Police and Firefighter Monopoly Bargaining Bill during the "lame duck" session of Congress.

And without your IMMEDIATE action, I'm afraid they just may succeed.

So please sign the petition to your U.S. Senators and chip in with a donation of $10 right away!
