July 25, 2010 - The veteran film director Junichi Suzuki's latest film 442 - Live with Honor, Die with Dignity will be released on July 25 at Aratani/ Japan America Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles, and followed by South Bay, Irvine, San Francisco, San Jose and San Diego.   Prior to this mainland premiere in July, 442 was shown at the Maui Film Festival on June 20 as the world premiere screening and won the Audience Award Special Prize "Courage and Commitment."   The film was screened at the Castle Theater of Maui Arts & Cultural Center which has 1200 capacity, one of the most highly recognized as the artistic theatres in the South Pacific.    On June 20, the theatre was filled with the people to come to watch the film. Among the audience, there was Mr. Lawson Sakai and Mr. George Sakato who were main interviewees of the film with other 100th/442nd veterans of Maui.   They were surprised by the video message from Senator Daniel Inouye, who is also the film's main interviewee. He sent the video to celebrate the film team since he couldn't attend the festival due to his Senate duty.   The atmosphere was for 100th/442nd veterans. Sharron Angle: We are fighting back, and it's working

Dear Patriot: When I became the Republican nominee against Harry Reid I told you that Harry Reid planned to try and "vaporize" me. That was his term, not mine. We were right. To date, Harry Reid and his allies have dumped millions into this race and most of it's gone towards attacking me on TV. But I’m a fighter and now we’re neck and neck with Harry Reid in the polls.  With just 76 days left in the campaign and Reid spending even more money, I need your help to continue. Reid and his buddies on the Radical Left are running the same playbook against me that they ran against Sarah Palin. The Democrats attacked her viciously, and in the same way they are ruthlessly attacking me.  Harry Reid and the Democrats are terrified by the thought of a strong Conservative woman going to Washington, and standing up to their Leftist agenda.  That’s why they have secretly taped our meetings and events, run nasty television advertisements, and staged fake rallies against me.  Online, the liberal left has even suggested I want women raped, that I am planning to assassinate Harry Reid, and that I would like to starve our Seniors to death. There is literally nothing they will not say to win this election. I want you to know that this assault from Harry Reid gave our campaign a decision to make. Should we sit on our money until the end and hope for the best, or start fighting back against Harry Reid's negative attacks? I'm not one to sit around. I chose to fight back against Harry Reid’s lies. I am happy to say that we are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars every week fighting the Harry Reid Attack Machine. That’s the good news. The bad news is that he is still outspending me by millions of dollars. That’s why I am writing you today. I need you to help me keep fighting the radical left and their leader- Harry Reid. I’m spending my money much earlier than expected- but it’s working. We went on TV and jumped in the polls while Reid dropped. Three straight polls have shown that we are now running neck and neck in the polls with the most powerful Senator in America. The press has covered what we’re doing positively. National Review Online covered our new strategy extensively: "...if you've been keeping an eye on the high-stakes Nevada Senate race, you know that Sharron Angle's campaign has been making a lot of television and web ads... And these are not small buys for these ads; I'm told the point totals are comparable to autumn-level in most places... Angle's counter-move is gutsy: With money coming in fast, her campaign figures waiting until the fall will be too late. Team Angle is using the funds coming in now to ensure competitiveness. Judging by her jump in the Mason-Dixon poll, it's working." Reid isn’t taking this lying down either. Since these new polls came out, Reid has stepped up the onslaught.  Just this week one of my friends told me that he saw FOUR Harry Reid commercials attacking me during an hour long TV show he was watching.  See what I mean? We are going to win, but we can't let up. I need an urgent contribution right now so I can stay on TV and keep fighting Harry Reid. You know, it’s hard to be in a spending war with the Majority Leader.  When Harry Reid needs money, he can count on his DC lobbyist buddies unloading a dump truck full of cash on his campaign. I can’t count on the DC special interest crowd. That’s why I'm counting on great Americans like you for a contribution of $35, $50, $100 or $250 to keep our campaign on the air. Like I said, three straight polls have shown that what we are doing is working, but we can’t stop. I need your support. Will you help me today?
