Doizaki Gallery Caligraphy exhibition by Beikoku Shodo Kenkyukai   Textile exhibition by Akane Kai Garden Level/Basement Calligraphy: Beikoku Shodo Kenkyukai: Garden Room A Textile: Akane-kai: Garden Room B   2nd Floor Kimekomi Doll: Yukari-kai: Room 200 Sumie Brush Painting: Kawai Sumie: Conference Rooms B&C   3rd Floor Sashiko Embroidery: Pioneer Center Sashiko: Room 311 Samurao armor exhibition by Samurai Store 4th Floor Samurai Armor & Swords: Samurai Store: Room 409   Kabuki photo by Nobuyuki Okada 5th Floor Photo exhibition of Kabuki Lecture "Backstage to Hanamichi": Nobuyuki Okada: Cultural Room   This photo exhibition is presented by the Japan Foundation, Los Angeles, and supported by the JACCC.     In October 2009, the Japan Foundation's Arts and Culture Exchange program in conjunction with the 100th Anniversary Celebration of the Japan America Society of Southern California hosted the "KABUKI, Backstage to Hanamichi" lecture and performance at the Aratani Japan America Theater in Los Angeles.   Photographer Nobuyuki Okada says "These photographs, illustrating the beauty of Kabuki were meant for more than my private collection and I hoped for a chance to share these photos one day. I am thrilled that the Japan Foundation Los Angeles has offered their full support in organizing this show as one of the cultural exhibition events at the JACCC during the Nisei Week Festival this summer.
