Overcoming worry in your life

“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
Matthew 6:34
I heard about a man who worried all the time. But finally, there came a time in his life he just put aside all of his worrying. And people began to notice how much calmer and more peaceful this man was. One day he was sitting in a barber chair and his barber noticed the change in his behavior. So he asked him, “What happened to you? Why don’t you worry about things like you used to?”
And the man said, “Well, I’ve hired a professional worrier.”
“A professional worrier?” the barber replied.
“That’s right!” He said, “He worries about my bills, worries about my business, and worries about my family. He just worries about everything that worries me so I don’t have to. And he only charges a thousand dollars a day.”
So the barber shot back, “You can’t afford that!”
And man said, “Let him worry about it.”
Wouldn’t that be great if we could just hire a professional worrier to take away all of our cares? Well, the Bible says that because you and I are in Christ, we can be free from anxiety. We just have to give it over to God.
So when it comes to the worries in your life, hand them over to God, trusting fully that He’ll give you exactly what you need!
HAND YOUR WORRIES AND CARES OVER TO GOD BECAUSE HE’LL ALWAYS GIVE YOU WHAT YOU NEED!
