Join us for an iftar on Friday, August 26th Iftar with home-made Moroccan and Arab food feast! DATE: August 26, 2011 TIME: Sundown (around 7:45) LOCATION: ACCC, 2 Plaza Street, San Francisco COST: $15 to $20 minimum; no one turned away for lack of funds Come celebrate Ramadan with a Moroccan feast and community fellowship. The meal will be home-cooked by a community member in the ACCC's own kitchen and provided by San Francisco's Bursa Restaurant (60 West Portal, San Francisco).  All proceeds will benefit the ACCC Social Services and Domestic Violence Program which, on a daily basis, offers support in creating safe homes for women and children within the community. Donations accepted at the door and further donations at the event will gladly be accepted.  RSVP to our Facebook event page here. The ACCC wishes you all a blessed Ramadan. While there are so many incredible and much deserving causes to support this Ramadan, the ACCC requests your generosity to support members of our local community who are going through trying times. Give Ramadan Zakat to support clients of the ACCC's Social Services Program. While things like a hot meal, a clean set of clothes, and a roof over our heads are something all of us take for granted, some of us are barely able to make it, especially in difficult economic times.
