Part of a global project involving 30 cities, The Gaza Monologues, kicks off on October 17th in Gaza followed by performances around the world, some of which will be connected via satellite. The presentations in the Bay Area are being performed by high school students one of whom will join the culminating international performance on November 29th at the United Nations. Golden Thread Productions has partnered with Moreau High School in Hayward, Mercy High School and International Studies Academy in San Francisco. The writings will be performed in diverse styles generated by the teens and accompanied by the live singing of Yasmeen Daifallah.
