Stop the Flip Floppers

Of all the races to watch this election year, none may be more interesting than Charlie Crist versus … Charlie Crist?

Watch our adThat's right. Florida U.S. Senate candidate Charlie Crist is running against...himself.

On some of the country’s most important economic issues he simply can't make up his mind. Even with the government takeover of health care, he opposed legislation -- until it was more popular to support it!

Don't take our word for it -- watch our new ad that shows Charlie in his own words.

With a host of candidates running from their records and trying to reinvent themselves -- we want to make sure you know where they really stand on the issues that matter.

This election season is like a bad episode of Extreme Makeover: Congress Edition. Throughout the country candidates are flip-flopping or, worse yet, trying to reinvent themselves as “pro-jobs” and “fiscally conservative.”

The one thing they're missing: The voting record to back it up.

That's where we come in.

The U.S. Chamber is running ads across the country highlighting the records of candidates who fought for American jobs, or in many cases, those who did the opposite by supporting the job-killing policies that plagued the last sixteen months.

We are making sure elected officials are held accountable for their votes not their stump speeches.

Restoring a pro-jobs majority to Congress is the most important step in bringing our country back.

Votes have consequences. As Charlie Crist has shown us, so do political flip-flops.

Please click here to learn more about how you can join our election year efforts to bring leadership willing to stand up for our country's recovery back to Washington, D.C.

Sincerely,

Bill Miller
Senior Vice President and National Political Director
