Despite the Left's attempts to sully the citizens and government of Arizona over the state's new immigration enforcement law, Americans are siding with the commonsense attempt to crack down on illegal immigration. A CBS News poll reveals that 84 percent of Americans consider illegal immigration a serious problem. The same poll shows that more than two-thirds of all Americans believe that the new Arizona law is at least "about the right answer" to the illegal immigration problem or doesn't go far enough. Only a little more than one-quarter of Americans feel the law goes too far.
