NHK World features "Poems from Hiroshima A-Bomb Survivor" NHK World aired a story of "Poems From A Survivor" on Aug 3 at http://www.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/english/movie/feature98.html Ken Shimizu, a child of survivor Shizue Shimizu, recently published his mother's poetry of Atomic-bombing experience. Shizue passed away 8 years ago at the age of 89. But she did not tell her Atomic-bombing experience but wrote her memories in Tanka poetry style. Ken said he wished to have more time to hear Shizue's experience in person. Yoshiyuki Aoki of NHK Workd reported.
