With her "Hiroshima & Nagasaki Peace Project," Hiroshima atomic-bomb survivor Shigeko Sasamori presented a peace concert and a recitation of her own experience of "Hiroshima Maiden" on July 30 in Los Angeles. Singer Kumiko from Japan sang "Inori" song about Sadako Sasaki who died of radiation sickness. Sadako inspired a famous thousand cranes story.
Hair stylist Yuko Tokunaga-Koach is nominated for Emmy Award's Single Camera Series of Hair Styling Division. She has been nominated the same category for three consecutive years. The award will be announced on Aug 21.
